Slip Lok Connector Release
ASCO expands hazardous location products with Slip Lok Connector.
Florham Park, New Jersey - ASCO, the world's leading manufacturer of Solenoid Valves, has introduced the Slip Lok (TM) Connector which was designed to simplify installation of equipment in hazardous locations.
The patented two piece design provides for optimal positioning of components and locks them securely in position. The Slip Lok Connector reduces the time required to connect and disconnect conduit from instruments. The all 303 stainless steel construction has standard Male NPT connections with no special adapters needed. Optional features include alternative body threading and materials.
According to Bill Reeson, ASCO Sr. Product Manager - "As plant requirements for hazardous locations continue to expand in scope, we are working to design products that assist in overall plant productivity and meet more stringent national and international directives."
Slip Lok Connector is UL approved for use in hazardous areas, Class I Groups A, B, C and D; Class II Groups E, F and G, Division 1 and 2.
