8296/8396 Release
ASCO Scientific's Series 8296/8396 High Flow, Inert Isolation Valves are ideal for applications requiring high flow of aggressive chemicals or high purity fluids. These 2-way and 3-way solenoid valves are available with up to a .157" orifice and pressure ratings up to 87 psi.
To handle a large variety of corrosive or high purity fluids commonly found in analytical instrumentation, the Series 8296/8396 is constructed of inert materials such as PEEK, PTFE, and FFKM (Perfluoro elastomer).
In addition to its chemical compatibility, the FFKM (Perfluoro elastomer) disc of the 8296/8396 provides a tighter shutoff and handles small particulate better than valves constructed of all PTFE wetted components due to its forgiving nature.
